Last night Milan celebrated a night of glory at the San Siro, when Nicolò Tresoldi scored a hat-trick against Inter in the Champions League. The young midfielder, born in Germany but raised in Italy, left the crowd in a frenzy with three decisive goals, proving to be a talent of great value for the future of the Rossoneri club.
The father, Emanuele Tresoldi, shared his emotions during an interview with Sky Sport. He said his son's smile after the match was "an advert for football", underlining how the young man showed great satisfaction and did not hide his happiness. After the match, the father noticed that Nicolò met with friends who were both AC Milan and Inter fans, but everyone celebrated together, creating an atmosphere of shared celebration.
The father also spoke about his son's dream of wearing the Milan shirt. "As a child he approached football like this, his team has always been Milan. I think it would be an immense satisfaction to wear the Milan shirt one day", he added. However, the question of nationality remains open: "I don't feel like giving advice, he's big and vaccinated and knows how to manage his things. He doesn't deny that he wants to finish his career in U21 with Germany, then we'll see. He's living day to day, everything is happening quickly and very big things are happening. It takes time to manage the steps but he's big and vaccinated and will decide on his own."
Regarding the choice between Italy and Germany, the father reiterated that Nicolò has not yet made a final decision. "No, he talks more with his sister and mother, with the women of the house. With me he talks about other things", he explained. The young man, who jealously keeps his memorabilia, said he still doesn't know where he will put the hat-trick ball.
With yesterday's performance, Tresoldi confirmed his position as one of the emerging stars of Italian football, and Milan prepares to make the most of his talent in the upcoming Champions League and Serie A matches. Next week the club returns to action against Roma, where it is hoped that the young midfielder will continue to show his worth.
