Inter will have to do without their captain, LautaroMartínez, for at least five SerieA matches and two European matches. The Argentine player injured his flexor during the Champions League match against ClubBrugge, and his recovery is expected only after the next break scheduled for November 8th. In that period, Inter will have to face Bologna, Fiorentina, Venice, Milan and Como without their point of reference.
The injury situation is not limited to Inter. Roma and Como are also facing difficulties ahead of the Champions League matches. Roma, awaiting further clarifications after the player's examination, must deal with the injuries of Paulo Dybala and ManuKone, the latter with a more serious problem. Como, however, saw the loss of AssaneDiao, former Betis, during the match against Feyenoord, and the team has yet to understand the player's real condition.
Napoli are also affected by an injury: David Neres, after the match against Villarreal, will be out until the break, with the hope of returning to the field after the national teams. Atalanta, who won against Pafos in the Conference League, suffered a new muscle injury to Giacomo Raspadori, already afflicted by similar problems in the previous weeks during his participation in Italy.
These series of injuries highlight the fragility of Italian teams in European competitions, with an increasing number of key players out for long periods. Europe thus appears "very bitter" for the Italian teams, who will have to reorganize themselves and find alternative solutions to face the next challenges.
