Fiorentina, which has just finished its mocking defeat against Inter, is preparing to launch the next championship match against Atalanta. The Argentine striker MateoPellegrino, who has already scored two goals in SerieA, was the protagonist of the match program, inviting the Viola to build on the positive things seen at SanSiro. "When you lose by conceding two goals in injury time, playing again after a few days is positive. On Sunday we gave everything, coming close to an important result against a great team like Inter. We have to start again from the positive things seen in Milan, improving in detail and maintaining high concentration throughout the match", said the attacker.
Pellegrino underlined the importance of a perfect performance for the match against Atalanta, a team that "has many players capable of deciding the match at any moment". "We will have to be perfect. We know the value of Atalanta, they have many players capable of deciding the match at any moment. However, we want to do well, especially at home, to improve the rankings. So far the support of the fans has been incredible and deserves to be repaid", he added. Silver also spoke about his personal performance, already enriched by two goals in the championship. "I'm happy about it, it's true that we haven't scored much, but in the last few games many episodes have gone against us. The important thing is to continue to work hard, create chances and also improve our offensive level. All the attackers must help the team, both with goals and with obscure work."
The match against Inter showed that Fiorentina is capable of competing with the big teams, but it also highlighted the need to improve in technical details and concentration. Pellegrino reiterated that the team must maintain high concentration throughout the match and that all the attackers must contribute with goals and teamwork. The next match against Atalanta will be an opportunity to demonstrate their strength at home and to push the rankings up. With the push of the fans and the determination of the attacking department, Fiorentina aims to transform its performance at SanSiro into a positive result in the next match.
