AC Milan is getting close to finalizing an agreement with MarkusKrosche, former sporting director of Eintracht Frankfurt, to include him in the Rossoneri management structure as the new Head of Football. According to industry sources, the negotiations are now at an advanced stage and the Rossoneri management is optimistic about a rapid closure, motivated by the need to strengthen the operational management of the club.
Krosche, 46, was relieved of his position at Eintracht at the request of the Milanese manager, Gerry Cardinale. Although he no longer holds operational roles in Germany, the manager remains formally linked to Eintracht with a contract valid until 2028. To allow him to move to Milan, Eintracht will request compensation from Milan. Rumors suggest that the release clause is between 5 and 7 million euros, a figure that the Via Aldo Rossi club will have to pay to complete the agreement.
Milan's interest in Krosche did not arise recently. During the summer transfer market session, the club had already tried to bring him to Italy, but Eintracht had refused to sell their lead manager. With Krosche's resignation, the negotiations reopened in a decisive way, offering Milan the possibility of integrating a figure with strategic and sports personnel management skills.
The new Head of Football will be responsible for coordinating scouting, youth development and player acquisition activities, helping to consolidate the club's organizational structure. The Rossoneri management has expressed its desire to complete the deal quickly, in view of the next few weeks of the transfer market and the immediate needs of the club.
With Krosche's arrival, Milan will be able to strengthen its internal leadership and prepare for the challenges of Serie A and European competitions. The club will continue to monitor the situation and communicate any updates on the final status of the agreement.
