On 1 November 2026, the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium in Como will host the tenth matchday of the Serie A championship, with the match between Como and Venice taking place at 12:30. The meeting, however, will not be limited to football: Art Events, a company specialized in the management of historic locations and the organization of cultural events, has designed a program that combines sport, art and conviviality along the shores of the lake.
The event, conceived as a bridge between two territories strongly linked to their territory, will take place a few steps from the stadium, at the historic Yacht Club Como. Here, a curator led by Carlo Francesco Galli Maria Bolgè will present a famous serigraph by Andy Warhol depicting Mao Tse-tung, together with works by Marco Adamo, an artist who transforms football into painting through Action Painting. Adamo's canvases, created by kicking a ball immersed in color, offer a direct dialogue between athletic movement and artistic expression.
In addition, Volker Merkle will display a selection of design elements in dialogue with Como's rationalist heritage, underlining the local cultural identity. The initiative, which is part of a collaboration path between Lombardy and Veneto, aims to create physical and emotional meeting spaces where sport and culture merge to promote relationships and exchanges.
Among the guests of honor will be Daniele Gilardoni, a rower from Como and eleven-time world champion, and Gennaro Florio, a Venetian barman who will introduce the "Dindolon", a cocktail created specifically to celebrate the bond between the two teams and their cities. Filippo Perissinotto, president of Art Events, underlined that "a match is a moment of great collective participation, but it can also become an opportunity to build relationships that go beyond the result on the pitch".
With this event, Como and Venice will not only compete on the field, but will also meet through art and conviviality, offering fans an integrated cultural and sporting experience that celebrates the roots and identities of both cities.
