Juventus is in a transition phase, but coach Luciano Spalletti is already focused on the future, especially in view of the next match against Napoli, where Massimiliano Allegri will not be present. In a press conference at Marassi, Spalletti reiterated the importance of maintaining continuity after the three-point victory against Lecce, underlining that the team must play with the same energy as in the first half on Sunday. He also praised the precision in free kicks, highlighting how the technical care allowed us to take the lead against Lecce.
Spalletti continued to talk about his tactical project, indicating that the 3‑5‑2 will probably remain, with Alajbegovic in a supporting role to Woltemade and KoloMuani initially on the bench. Despite his position as a spy, the coach expressed great confidence in the French striker, defining him as a player who causes fear in his opponents and who contributes to collective success. He cited Muani's reaction to Douglas Luiz's 2‑0 as an example of team spirit and commitment to the overall result.
In the meantime, Massimiliano Allegri's situation has changed. After the disqualification in the match against Roma, the Livorno coach decided not to appeal, declaring that "there isn't much to say, it's already happened". He expressed regret at losing the three points, but also reiterated his enthusiasm for future matches, saying he had faith in his staff. Allegri added that the disqualification was not the main concern, but the failure to win after a good performance.
Napoli, on the other hand, is preparing to play against Monza, with Juventus ready to take advantage of Allegri's absence. Spalletti underlined that the team must continue to give convincing performances, just as they did against Lecce, and that motivation is key to overcoming difficulties. Juventus, although "on track", must demonstrate that they can maintain the pace and quality necessary to compete with top-level clubs.
With the season still underway, Juventus will have to face the next challenges with a victory-oriented mentality, while Spalletti continues to build a solid project. The team, although undergoing restructuring, shows its desire to remain competitive, and the next matches will offer the opportunity to consolidate its position in the standings.
