Kosta Runjaic, the coach of Udinese, is looking for new sources of energy for the team which, after an unsatisfactory start to the season, must face the match on 18 October against Lecce in Udine. According to the Messaggero Veneto, Udinese has three "oases" that they can use: DavidAlaba, KeinanDavis and MatteoPalma.
The first of these is the Austrian ally David Alaba, former Bayern and Real Madrid player. The former captain of the Austrian national team should enter the field as a starter on the left, after his last match in Turin, where he played just 18 minutes. Runjaic asked the player to fill the left center position, where Alaba has been tested in the past, and to make an offensive and defensive contribution to the team.
The second "oasis" is Keinan Davis, expected by everyone for his return to the center of the attack. The young striker will have to manage his strength to prevent any injuries from affecting him too much. His goals are fundamental to increasing the team's ambitions and giving positive energy to the team.
Finally, MatteoPalma, who recovered from the adductor longus injury during his debut with Como on 22 August, is destined to return to the field. Runjaic has worked with him for his pure central position, but is also evaluating the possibility of using him on the right of the "3" defense in place of the injured James Abankwah.
With these decisions, Udinese hopes to improve their form and achieve more positive results in Serie A. The next step will be to see how the new members adapt during the match against Lecce and whether they will be able to lead the team towards a positive result.
