On 27 October Lazio consolidated their position at the top of the table with a convincing 3‑1 victory over Sassuolo, thanks to a brace scored by Tijiani Noslin. The midfielder, who immediately showed his determination, expressed gratitude towards the coach and his teammates, underlining his confidence in his abilities.
After the result, Noslin was interviewed by the Dazn service. He declared: "I have always believed in my qualities. I have to thank the coach and my teammates." The player added that the team must maintain the pace, "we must continue like this. We are doing a good job." These words highlight the importance of maintaining concentration for the next matches, where Lazio will have to defend its leading position.
The match, played at the Olympic Stadium, was largely decided by Noslin's contribution. After scoring the first goal in extra time, he found the net again in the 78th minute, ensuring victory for Gennaro Gattuso's team. The coach, who has already praised the performance of his players, reiterated the need not to be distracted by the league table, stating that "we don't look at the league table otherwise we'll get a headache."
With the victory, Lazio remains at the top of Serie A, with a four-point advantage over the second-placed team. Sassuolo, however, remains in a difficult position, with Turati's team having already recognized the fragility of its squad. Meanwhile, other teams such as Juventus and Torino have already started to review their strategies to face the final phase of the season.
For Lazio, the next match will be against Roma, where the result could further consolidate their leadership. The club have already shown a strong desire to continue their title chase, with Gattuso highlighting the need to maintain focus and discipline. Fans, on the other hand, expressed great enthusiasm for the team's performance, with comments highlighting the importance of the tactical freedom offered by the manager.
