Como is preparing for a decisive match against Torino, scheduled for matchday 9 of Serie A. Cesc Fabregas underlined the importance of this match, calling it "a very important match" in an already very intense calendar, with four matches in ten days. The captain explains that the opponent arrives with three consecutive victories and high morale, and that Como will have to maintain concentration for the entire 90 minutes, carefully managing every phase of the game. "I've seen the boys on the ball in the last two days after the victory over Sassuolo; we have to continue like this," he added, referring to the team's recent form.
Meanwhile, Napoli finds itself at the center of a disciplinary dispute. Coach Massimiliano Allegri was suspended for two matches and fined by the sports judge, a decision against which the club has lodged an urgent appeal. Lawyer Mattia Grassani explained that the sanction was motivated by the "double midweek commitment" and the first team's match next weekend. The appeal, which requires a review of the report of the referee, the fourth match official and the federal prosecutor's office, is expected to be heard by Thursday or Friday. If the sanction is reduced, Allegri could return to the pitch for the match against Juventus.
In the administrative field, Adriano Galliani has officially accepted the role of accompanying manager at Enotria 1908, a Milanese amateur club. This step is part of his candidacy for the presidency of the FIGC, in view of the next elections. His nomination was communicated by ANSA and represents a necessary formal step for his candidacy.
The FIGC elections are approaching and the political scene of Italian football is in turmoil. Tomorrow an informal summit will be held between the undecided clubs in Serie A, where about ten clubs will discuss who to support: Giovanni Malagò or the Forza Italia senator. The final decision will have significant impacts on the future of the federation and the national football landscape. With matches on the calendar and disciplinary matters still pending, fans can expect a period of great tension and expectations both on and off the pitch.
