Juventus have confirmed that their two main strikers, Woltemade and KoloMuani, will be able to play together in an upcoming match. The news emerged after the draw against Cagliari, when Woltemade was brought onto the pitch for the Europa League match against Celta from Vigo, alongside Muani and not replacing him. The question was posed to Luciano Spalletti, coach of the Juventus team, in the Sky Sport studio before the match against Celta.
Spalletti responded that the possibility of having the two players play at the same time is real and that it could happen as early as that same evening. “Yes, but we will let them play together, and maybe there will be an opportunity tonight too,” declared the coach. He explained that he left out Muani and NicoGonzalez, two attackers who can change the outcome of a match thanks to their physical strength and ability to recover the result. “Nico is one of those who has this poison in him,” he added, referring to his ability to create decision-making opportunities.
Spalletti also highlighted the importance of playing with Alajbegovic, a striker who, when in form, leads the team to play with more quality. “There will be the possibility to satisfy you but then someone like Alajbegovic is missing who when he manages to show his qualities the team plays good football,” he underlined. The coach concluded by stating that, despite the difficulties, he does not see his team in a negative situation at the moment.
The club has therefore left open the prospect of Woltemade and Muani playing together, with the aim of making the most of their offensive qualities and increasing their chances of winning in the next competitions. The final decision will depend on the players' physical condition and tactical strategy for the upcoming matches. Juventus, with its squad full of talent, will continue to seek the right balance to maximize performance on the pitch.
