Juliano Belletti, coach of Barça Atlètic, has stressed the need for “patience and intensity” before the next match against Utebo FC, with the goal of securing a fifth consecutive victory. In a pre-match press conference, which was held at the Estadi Johan Cruyff at 5:00 p.m., the Brazilian coach analyzed the characteristics of the rival and the tactical adjustments that the Blaugrana team must implement to overcome the challenges posed by Utebo.
Utebo FC presents itself as a team with a solid defensive balance and a tendency to withdraw and close the interior spaces. Belletti explained that many teams try to adjust their defensive systems when playing against Barça Atlètic, seeking to limit partnerships and make it difficult to create opportunities. “It is important to maintain possession, control the game and dominate it with intensity to generate chances,” said the coach, emphasizing that patience should not turn into a lack of aggressiveness.
The coach also emphasized the management of the minutes of the young players who are actively participating in the UEFA Youth League. “We must never stop competing at the highest level, whether in the reserve team, the youth team or the first team,” said Belletti, underlining the importance of players being prepared to give their best when given the opportunity. In this sense, the coach considered that the footballers who are in the European competition could be called up in the next few days, as long as they maintain the good atmosphere and competitive demands.
Barça Atlètic, which has won its last four games, seeks to consolidate its position in the table and continue demonstrating its ability to adapt to different styles of play. Belletti pointed out that Utebo FC will demand the maximum from the reserve team, although its recent results have not been so positive. “They play very good football,” commented the coach, highlighting the need to control the game and find spaces to create chances.
Looking to the future, the coach concluded that the next match will be an opportunity for the youngsters to show their potential and for the team to continue its winning streak. “It is essential that the players are prepared to give their maximum when they have an opportunity,” he added, closing the conference with the expectation that Barça Atlètic maintains its performance and continues advancing in the competition.
