Cesc Fàbregas's Como achieved a dramatic comeback against Torino, winning 3-1 at the San Siro stadium. The victory was sealed in the last ten minutes of the match, when Argentine striker NicoPaz became the hero of the match, scoring the winning goal in the 87th minute after an overflow play on the right wing.
The match began with an early disallowed goal for Como. In the fifth minute, Greek striker TasosDouvikas appeared to score after a pass from LucasdaCunha, but the referee disallowed the goal for offside. Torino responded with a chance from RafikBelghali, who managed to unbalance JacoboRamón inside the area and forced the intervention of goalkeeper RobertSánchez, who made a great save. “Toro’s” first advantage came in the 24th minute, when GiovanniSimeone, son of the Atlético de Madrid coach, and CheAdams joined forces for the latter to score after an assist from Fitz-Jim, who had stolen the ball from Ramón. Adams also came close to extending the lead, but the Spanish goalkeeper once again prevented the goal.
After the break, Como maintained the initiative and found momentum in the changes. MaxenceCaqueret shot at the net in the 54th minute, but without success, and three minutes later Martin Baturina came on to reinforce the visiting attack. Como's pressure bore fruit in the 81st minute, when NicoPaz placed a precise ball at the far post and JacoboRamón, with a header, equalized the score. The play corrected the error that had allowed Adams' goal and restored hope to Fàbregas' team.
Six minutes later, the Argentine reappeared on the field. YanCouto launched a cross from the right wing, and NicoPaz anticipated the ball to head in and seal the comeback in the 87th minute. In extra time, an error by NikolaVlasic allowed Baturina to score the final goal in added time, leaving Torino with a hard setback.
The victory confirms Como's good phase, driven by the decisive performance of NicoPaz, who has once again been a key player after not having played the previous day due to rotation. The result consolidates the team's position in the table and gives them an important boost for the next SerieA matches.
