Goalkeeper Lorenzo Palmisani confirmed Frosinone's determination to return to winning ways during the press conference held on 28 October in the Benito Stirpe stadium. In view of the next match against Lecce, Palmisani underlined how the team is preparing as best as possible, with particular attention to managing pressure and mental work.
During the interview, the defender recalled his state of positive anger after Atalanta's third goal, stating that he used that emotion to stimulate his teammates and regain the lead. He then highlighted the importance of group bonding, the result of a year of shared experience and the arrival of new key players, as well as the support of the technical staff, especially from a psychological point of view.
Palmisani praised the most difficult saves, citing those against Zalewski in Bergamo and the numerous opportunities against Como, and spoke of the value of comparing himself with top-level goalkeepers, such as Meret and Carnesecchi, who help him improve. He also explained how the role of goalkeeper has evolved with the new vertical style of play, requiring greater presence on the pitch and more active support for the team.
The goalkeeper reiterated that, despite the pressure of a season of salvation, the main objective remains remaining in Serie A. He closed the interview with a touching comment about being a role model for young people, underlining the satisfaction of seeing children wearing the Frosinone shirt and drawing inspiration from his example.
