The young Jan Zuberek, Inter U23 striker, has shown that he can be a point of reference even outside the youth sector. In a Serie C match against Giugliano, the Pole, born on 13 March 2004, entered the pitch in the 60th minute and immediately made an immediate impact, scoring two goals and providing two assists in just 30 minutes of play. His performance guaranteed the club a convincing 4‑0, contributing to the fourth league success of the season for Stefano Vecchi's team.
Zuberek's performance was particularly significant because it allowed Inter U23 to reach 13 points after eight games, their first victory after the draw with Savoia on 10 October. Previously in that match, the same player had already provided the assist for the Nerazzurri goal. With the brace against Giugliano, the Pole increased his total to two goals and three assists in Serie C, in seven appearances and 170 minutes in total, always starting from the bench.
Zuberek's path has been marked by numerous loans. After maturing in Inter's youth sector, where he won the 2021/22 Primavera Championship with the Under 19s, he began his professional career with a loan to Ternana in Serie B in January 2024. He subsequently played for Lecco in the 2024/25 season and for Avellino in the second half of the same season, but was unable to find the net in either of these experiences. Now, with a contract that lasts until 30 June 2027, he is an integral part of the Inter U23 squad.
The performance against Giugliano shows that Zuberek still has a lot to offer and that Inter can count on him as an attacking alternative in addition to more consolidated players such as Pio Esposito. The club, which has already shown faith in its young players, could evaluate further opportunities for the Pole, both within the Serie A team and in possible new loans. In any case, Zuberek's brace is a positive sign for Inter and a reminder that the future of the club could also lie in these young promises.
