The beer at the Dall'Ara became the center of a protest by Bolognese fans, who launched a petition on Change.org to ask for an improvement in the quality and value for money of the drinks offered during home matches. In less than two days the collection exceeded 1,400 signatures, highlighting the dissatisfaction with the transition from the standard format of 0.4 liters to 0.3 liters and with the price increase from 4 to 6 euros.
The text of the petition calls for a service that is "dignified and aligned with the expectations of top-flight fans", underlining that the reduction in the quantity of beer at a higher cost has created tension among supporters. The club's attention was quickly captured, and Bologna decided to intervene to quell the complaints.
The club has announced the restoration of the 0.4 liter format, while maintaining the price of 6 euros. In practice, fans will once again receive 100ml more than the new format, without having to pay more. This decision, although partial, responds to one of the most pressing requests from fans, namely the adequate quantity of beer for the asking price.
The price, however, remains unchanged, and this element continues to be a point of friction. The club explained that the price of 6 euros was established based on the costs of supply and management of the catering service. Despite this, the return to the previous format has been met with some relief, as fans will finally be able to enjoy a more generous glass during matches.
Bologna closed the communication by inviting fans to continue expressing their opinions, underlining that the club is ready to evaluate further improvements to the service. The situation remains evolving, and fans will have to wait for any further changes before the next home match.
