Dutch midfielder Tijjani Noslin, a Lazio striker, confirmed the trust of coach Gennaro Gattuso and expressed optimism for the team's future. In an interview given before the match with Cagliari, Noslin underlined how the team is demonstrating a very positive level of play and how his role is fundamental to maintaining the successful course.
Lazio are in an unbeaten season, with eight wins and a draw in 13 games, and Noslin has already scored four goals and provided two assists in the league. The player commented on the congestion of the calendar, stating that playing three matches in a week is beneficial, as it maintains the same pace as a European competition. “This allows us to focus on every single game, week after week,” Noslin said, highlighting his determination not to be overwhelmed by commitments.
As for the opponent, Noslin recalled that Cagliari started the season well, finishing in the top four in the table. He defined tomorrow's match as "a real test", but also expressed confidence in the fact that, by staying calm and doing teamwork, Lazio can achieve a positive result. “If we keep calm, we will do our job and give our best,” he added, referring to the other nine challenges already faced.
The player then spoke about the relationship with the coach, stating that Gattuso trusts him and supports him. “The coach trusts me and believes in me a lot, this allows me to do everything possible for the team,” declared Noslin. He reiterated the importance of putting the group first and continuing to give our all in every single match, recalling that there are still 29 games to play and he hopes to score more goals.
Finally, Noslin mentioned his religious beliefs, declaring that he deeply believes in God and thanks him for every success, whether it is a goal, an assist or a victory. He underlined how faith helps him maintain calm, humility and determination to fight every day for his place in the team. The adventure continues for Lazio, which is preparing to challenge Cagliari at the Olimpico, with the aim of maintaining its uninterrupted series of victories.
