Racing de Santander has decided to block 41 people from entering the stadium after verifying their participation in the resale of tickets for the duel against Real Madrid that will be held this Sunday at El Sardinero. Among those affected are 15 season ticket holders, six supporters and 20 registered in the Active Registry of Ticket Applicants (RASE). The club has warned that these individuals must go through the ticket office before being able to access the venue to clarify their situation.
According to the club's statement, individual files have been opened against each of those involved for failing to comply with the regulations that regulate subscriptions, supporter cards and tickets, as established by the Racing statutes, the internal regulations of the facility and the conditions of the 2026/2027 season ticket holder campaign. Once the procedures are completed, the club will inform those affected and the fans in general of the corresponding resolutions.
Racing has also announced that, for this Sunday's match, access controls to the stadium will be intensified in order to guarantee compliance with the rules and avoid new resale situations. In its statement, the club appealed to solidarity among racing fans and regretted that some fans try to "do business at the expense of others." “It cannot be tolerated that some racers try to do business at the expense of other racers, who have complied with the regulations and who, due to excess demand, have not even been able to agree to buy a ticket,” the statement concluded.
With the measure, Racing seeks to send a clear message to all its fans about the importance of respecting the ticket sales rules and avoiding practices that harm fans who meet the requirements. The club hopes that the action serves as an example for other entities and that the fans understand that resale will not be tolerated on future occasions. The result of the files and the final decision on those affected will be communicated in the coming days, while the club prepares for the match against Real Madrid with the assurance that entry to the stadium will be strictly controlled.
