The U.S. Cremonese has announced two important contractual changes for the 2026-27 season. Young Lithuanian defender Adrian Lickunas, born in 2006, extended his deal until 30 June 2031, while Gabriel Herzuah, born in 2008, signed his first professional contract expiring on 30 June 2029.
Lickunas, who has already proven his worth on the pitch, had a double debut in the first half of the season. He made his debut with the grey-red shirt in the championship match against Modena and, shortly afterwards, represented the senior Lithuania national team in a UEFA Nations League match. His growth was followed carefully by the club, which decided to guarantee him a long stay in the team.
Herzuah, however, made his debut with the first team during the away match in Pisa on 14 October. The club recognized his potential and offered him a professional contract which sees him at the center of the club's development project for the next few years. The agreement, which expires in 2029, confirms Cremonese's desire to invest in the young talents of its youth sector.
The renewal of Lickunas and the signing of Herzuah strengthen the defensive and offensive structure of the team, which aims to consolidate its position in Serie B. The club has underlined the importance of maintaining a young and stable base to face the challenges of next season. With these agreements, Cremonese is preparing to continue its growth path, aiming for more ambitious results both in the league and in European competitions.
