AC Milan have made official the renewal of the contract of Christian Pulisic, who signed yesterday at the club for a new agreement valid until 30 June 2031. The American footballer, who put the negotiations to rest for weeks, has extended his stay by four years compared to the previous contract, which expired in June 2025. With the extension, Pulisic reaches a new level of remuneration, reaching around five million euros a year, a figure which places him in third place among the highest paid players in the club.
Pulisic's new salary places him alongside Mike Maignan and Adrien Rabiot, Milan's two highest-paid starters. The French midfielder has already signed an extension, while Maignan, team captain, continues to earn the same amount. Pulisic, who joined the club in 2023, has already managed 44 goals and 28 assists in 142 appearances, proving his worth on the pitch. The new contract provides for a gross impact of 6.5 million euros for the club, thanks to the benefits deriving from the Growth Decree, still in force for the player.
Despite the new salary, Pulisic does not exceed the salary of a player like Leão, who earns between 6.5 and 7 million euros a year and, in Istanbul, even more. However, the renewal confirms Pulisic's position as one of Milan's highest salaries, along with Maignan and Rabiot. The ranking of the club's ten highest paid players includes, in addition to these three, Mario Gila, Gonçalo Ramos, Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Samuel Chukwueze, Luka Modric, Fikayo Tomori, Diego Moreira and Alexis Saelemaekers, with salaries ranging from 3 to 4.5 million euros.
With the new deal, Pulisic will continue to contribute to Milan's project until 2031, as the club prepares to maintain its competitive wage structure to attract and retain top talent.
