Cristian Chivu's Inter started the season with a convincing victory against Brugge, despite the absence of captain LautaroMartínez. The Argentine player, who had shown an unnecessary brace in the previous match, was ruled out due to a muscle injury which will force him to remain on the bench until the next break.
The match took place in a tense environment, with Bologna adopting a very aggressive approach in the opening minutes. However, Inter managed to maintain control of the game and take advantage of the opportunities created. The first goal came thanks to MarcusThuram, who scored before the break with a precise and decisive shot. In the second half, the young striker Bonny played a crucial role: after a disallowed goal, he ended the match with another success, demonstrating his importance for the team.
The performance of FrancescoPioEsposito, born in 2005, was however less brilliant. The young player struggled to impact the game and received a yellow card. Despite this, he was given time to recover and prove his worth in the future.
Chivu expressed satisfaction with the performance of Thuram and Bonny, but also underlined the importance of integrating number 94 into the team. Inter, despite without Lautaro, have demonstrated that they can compete at a high level, leaving the prospects open for the next challenges in SerieA and the Champions League.
