The Coupe de France trophy will be available to RC Lens supporters for three days, from October 19 to 21, 2026, at the city's Town Hall. This exhibition, which is part of the celebration of the 120 years of the club and the centenary of its structured support, will allow the inhabitants of Lens to contemplate the icon of the Racing coronation without leaving the center of the city.
After being exhibited at the Miners’ Union House as part of the “100 years of supporter fervour” exhibition, the trophy will go to the Town Hall. It will be presented to visitors during the town hall's usual opening hours, before joining the Champions Trophy until October 18 evening. This initiative aims to bring the symbol of the club's success closer to its public, recalling the strong connection between Racing and its territory.
The timing of the exhibition coincides with an intense sporting period for the club. On Monday October 18, RC Lens will face Sporting CP in the Champions League at Bollaert, with the expected presence of Florian Thauvin, who has already left his mark on the club during his time in France. This European meeting adds to the local festivities, offering supporters a double experience: the passion for the game and the celebration of the club's history.
The Town Hall, located in the heart of Lens, was chosen for its ease of access and its symbolic role. By temporarily removing the trophy from the sporting environment, the club transforms the object into a sharing point between the club, the city and its inhabitants. This move reflects Racing’s gratitude and commitment to its fan base, which has supported the club through several generations.
At the end of this exhibition, the trophy will continue its journey to Lens, approaching Bollaert and the club stadium. Supporters will thus be able to extend the festivities and maintain the fervor that characterizes RC Lens, while waiting for the next competitions and the highlights to come.
