Defender Strahinja Pavlovic expressed his enthusiasm to Sky's microphones after Milan's convincing 0-4 victory against Salzburg in the Europa League. In the comment he highlighted the importance of teamwork and the club's attacking ability, underlining how the result strengthened the group's confidence.
Pavlovic asked if the team is built to attack and replied that "when we score a lot of goals, we are strong". He also reported that he had had some difficulties in front of goal in recent games, but that tonight's performance was good football. The young midfielder named Cisse was mentioned as an example of commitment: “I didn't expect this impact from Cisse, a guy who works so hard,” he said, adding that he was very happy for him.
In his account of the match, Pavlovic underlined that to keep the team in shape it is necessary to win duels, create opportunities and not make mistakes in front of goal. He concluded that if Milan continues to play like this, they will be able to demonstrate that they are strong and have the ability to compete for trophies.
The result against Salzburg represents an important step for the team as it prepares to continue the European campaign. With the victory, Milan consolidates their position in the group stage and moves closer to the knockout stage, where they will have to continue to show the same quality and determination. Pavlovic's analysis suggests that the team must maintain focus on duels and creating chances to continue producing goals and consolidate their position in the competition.
