Inter goalkeeper Ivan Provedel spoke to DAZN at the end of the match against Venezia, reminding fans of the importance of focusing on results. "The other teams against us are playing the game of their lives, we must be aware of this. We can do better, but you can't always be at your best. What matters is bringing home the three points", stated the defender.
The match, played last 28 October, ended with a victory for Inter which confirmed its position at the top of the table. Although the performance was not perfect, Provedel underlined that the team must maintain awareness of the difficulty represented by the opponents and that the main objective remains to gain the points necessary to advance in the championship.
In the context of the season, Inter continues to fight for qualification for the Champions League, with the competition becoming increasingly closer. The coach has already asked the players not to be distracted by external criticism and to focus on teamwork. Provedel, who started playing with the Rossoneri shirt after his return from Parma, reiterated that the correct mentality is essential to overcome daily challenges.
The goalkeeper also referred to the difficulty of maintaining a consistent level of performance, acknowledging that the team can improve in every match. However, he reiterated that the priority is always to get the three points, especially at a stage where the standings are closely contested.
With the next match scheduled against Parma, Inter will have to continue to show determination and concentration. Provedel closed his speech with a motivational message for his teammates: "We are here to win, and every match is an opportunity to demonstrate our value." Inter is therefore preparing for a new match that could be decisive for its race towards the top of Serie A.
