Giugliano announced the end of his relationship with coach Raffaele DiNapoli, who had led the team in Group C of Serie C. The decision was made on 17 October, with the coach confirming his willingness to leave the technical staff, leaving the club looking for a new point of reference for the current season.
DiNapoli, who took over as coach in January, had achieved mixed results in a competition characterized by frequent bench changes. His departure comes in a period in which SerieC sees numerous dismissals: from 5 September to 21 October, 26 clubs changed coaches, including Alcione Milano, Cittadella, GianaErminio and many others. Giugliano is not the only one to undergo this "waltz" of bench changes, which has extended to all three groups of the league.
The club has already started looking for a replacement, with the possibility of appointing an interim while a final choice is assessed. The club's management underlined that the decision was taken for performance reasons and to seek a new direction that can lead the team towards more ambitious goals. DiNapoli, for his part, expressed gratitude for the opportunity given by the club and wished the players and staff the best.
With DiNapoli's departure, Giugliano will face the challenge of maintaining stability on the pitch and finding a coach who can consolidate the team for the second half of the season. The club has already started work on the selection of a new coach, with the aim of avoiding further destabilization and aiming for a competitive position in Girone C. The official announcement of the new coach is expected next week, who will have to demonstrate that he can guide Giugliano towards more solid results and a more promising future in Serie C.
