Qatar is evaluating a possible investment in Inter, but at the moment there are no formal negotiations. As reported by *Il Messaggero*, a fund linked to the AlThani family has started exploratory contacts with Oaktree, the US fund that took control of the club in May 2024. Oaktree, however, issued a "no comment" and no confirmation of concrete developments emerged.
The proposal, if confirmed, would include the entry of a partner who could acquire a minority share of Inter, without however calling into question the sale of the majority. Oaktree appears to be in no hurry to sell its stake, but the entry of a new investor would allow the club to collect capital while maintaining control and to obtain a concrete valuation of the club through the price paid for the share. Estimates of Inter's value range between 1.5 and 2.1 billion euros, with an indicative valuation of between 1.8 and 2 billion.
The value of the club is supported by recent sporting results, by the improvement of the accounts and by a balance sheet closed with 518 million in revenue and 22.7 million in profit, the second consecutive one in the black. Furthermore, the new stadium project, for which Inter and Milan purchased the area for 197 million euros, could further increase the value of the club. The future facility, according to *Tuttosport*, could increase revenues from ticketing, hospitality and commercial activities, even if construction will require significant investments.
It is currently unclear whether Qatar's interest will translate into a concrete offer. Oaktree has expressed its desire to maintain control of the company, but the entry of a partner could represent a financing opportunity for the club without compromising its autonomy. For now, Inter remains under the control of the US fund, while Qatar continues to monitor the situation and evaluate potential investment opportunities.
