Paris Saint‑Germain, looking to fill the void left by KhvichaKvaratskhelia's injury, are reportedly targeting RealBetis player Moroccan winger EzAbde. According to ElNacional, the Parisian club would study an operation which, in addition to strengthening its attack, could allow FC Barcelona to finance the arrival of a former Ligue1 player.
EzAbde, 24, has already scored four goals in nine games this season for Betis Sevilla. His hard-hitting play and his ability to eliminate defenders one-on-one make him an attractive profile for Parisian coach LuisEnrique, who is looking to strengthen his left side. PSG, aware of its offensive needs, could accelerate negotiations as the winter transfer window approaches.
At the same time, Barça retains 20% of the economic rights on a possible resale of EzAbde, who played 14 matches in the first division. ElNacional indicates that the Catalan club could receive around 20 million euros if the player is sold, which would leave them room to invest elsewhere. These funds would then be intended for the acquisition of CastelloLukeba, French central defender from RBLeipzig, trained at OL.
CastelloLukeba, under contract until 2029, is valued at 50 million euros. HansiFlick, who wants to strengthen his defensive axis with a left-handed player, fast and comfortable in recovery, considers Lukeba as a preferred option. Barça, having a share of EzAbde's resale rights, could thus compensate for the high cost of central defense.
In summary, PSG could play a key role in the Barça transfer window: a transfer of EzAbde to Paris would generate income for the Catalan club, which would reinvest it in the recruitment of CastelloLukeba. However, the discussions remain at a preliminary stage, and the two clubs will have to finalize the conditions of the transaction before the close of the winter transfer window.
