Davide Possanzini, coach of Sudtirol, asked for attention and continuity for the next match against Juve Stabia, warning that the match will be complex due to the different playing surface and the quality of the opponent. The match will take place on Sunday 18 October at 3pm at the Romeo Menti Stadium in Castellammare di Stabia.
During the press conference at the FCS Center, Possanzini took stock of the work carried out by the team after the home match against Ascoli. He stressed that the week was positive and that the players worked well. According to the coach, Juve Stabia is a strong, organized team with important values, which always tries to propose its own style of play. “It will be a complicated match, also due to the characteristics of the playing surface, different from what we are used to,” said Possanzini, adding that the determining factor will be attention in the different moments of the match.
Regarding the management of the group, Possanzini declared that he does not have a default starting eleven. “All players train with the same principles and must be ready to recognize different situations on the pitch,” he explained. The choices depend on the characteristics required by the match, the opponents and the moments of form. The coach expressed satisfaction with the attitude of the whole group, stating that everyone deserved to play.
On the team's balance sheet, Possanzini highlighted his satisfaction with the attention with which the various aspects of the game are being taken care of. “In these first six games we managed to always stay in the game with our heads, even in the most complicated moments,” he declared. He asked to control everything that depends on them, knowing that episodes can affect the results. His satisfaction comes above all from what he sees every day during training.
With Juve Stabia in sight, Sudtirol is preparing for a challenge that will require concentration and cohesion. Possanzini invited the players to maintain the mentality they have carried forward so far, with the aim of facing the opponent with attention and continuity. The match on Sunday 18 October will be an opportunity to test the team and consolidate their position in the Serie B standings.
