The conflict between LuigiBisignani and ClaudioLotito, already on display in the courts, has turned into a real "judicial thriller" with the parties facing each other directly. After the publication of minutes in which the president of Lazio, Lotito, reported to the prosecutors an alleged "hidden direction" to remove him from the club, Bisignani responded with an aggressive reply, published on Radiosei's microphones, in which he publicly challenges the senator.
In his speech Bisignani declared that he had his lawyer present himself to the prosecutor to ask for a formal confrontation with Lotito, with the aim of dismantling the "prosecutory system" step by step. "I want to demonstrate the absolute falsehoods he says towards me and towards an entire fan base, who are constantly mocked and ridiculed. I deny any connection with those who threatened him", he stated. The defender then joked about the "I don't know him" line held by the president, adding that he will bring the managers ready to deny it. Furthermore, he criticized the Biancoceleste lawyer Gentile, accusing him of "playing the Azzeccagarbugli" to denounce those who released the president's audio, underlining that "they go so far as to say that there is a ploy to ridicule him, but he does it all alone".
Meanwhile, the issue of the empty stadium in Reggio Emilia continues to be contested. Bisignani justified his civil action against the market, claiming that the "tension is enormous" and that the theory of market manipulation is "crazy": "if he doesn't want to sell, he doesn't sell". Lotito's version, presented to the magistrates last June 30, claims that the false news was spread to depress the club's share value, with JPMorgan's alleged interest in a 450 million offer, aimed at putting pressure on the market and forcing the president to surrender.
The Court of Review confirmed the seizures of telephones and PCs from the suspects, giving a first point in favor of Lotito. Lawyer Gentile reiterated the existence of a "solid accusatory hypothesis" to verify the coordination of the news and the fluctuations of the title, announcing a complaint against the illegal diffusion of Lotito's audio, defined as "a maneuver aimed at discrediting and ridiculing the offended party". With both sides having removed the safety devices on their weapons, the clash has just begun and the legal battle between Bisignani and Lotito is destined to continue in the coming days.
