Harry Kane has continued to be talked about even in a context in which Bayern Munich seems to have lost some form. During the match against Viking, the Portuguese scored a brace, but the final result was only a draw, with the Germans having to come back from 2‑0 down. Despite the outcome, the attacker's statistics remain impressive and position him as a serious candidate for the Ballon d'Or.
At the end of the 2025-2026 season, Kane had already proven to be a key element for Bayern. The start of the new championship, however, was even stronger: in nine games with the German team he scored eight goals and four assists, while in four matches with the English national team he scored six goals and provided two assists. In total, in 13 appearances he has accumulated 14 goals and 6 assists, a performance that makes him one of the most prolific players in the competition.
The English midfielder confirmed his ambition to win the Champions League. In a press conference before the match against Viking, Kane said he didn't know exactly what to expect from his move to Bayern, but expressed gratitude for the opportunity and the expectations placed on him. He added that he wants to have new experiences and achieve important goals, including winning the Champions League, which he considers a priority.
Bayern Munich, despite showing some difficulties on the pitch, continues to count on Kane as an offensive pillar. His performances, both in the Champions League and the Bundesliga, have shown that he is capable of influencing matches with decisive goals and assists. His presence on the pitch has been a key factor in keeping the club competitive both nationally and internationally.
With the season still underway, the focus is on how Kane will continue to contribute to Bayern's success. If he maintains his high level of production, it will be difficult not to consider him among the strongest candidates for the Ballon d'Or. The German club, on the other hand, will have to make the most of its energy to try to recover its form and aim for the most important titles.
