Alberto Aquilani, Sassuolo's new coach, is ready to speak at the press conference at the Mapei Stadium shortly after the match against Lazio, which took place on the ninth matchday of Serie A. The Sassuolo team faced the challenge with a mix of hope and caution, while the coach, who has just assumed the role, is preparing to share his vision and reflections on the result obtained.
The match, which took place in a climate of tension typical of champion rivalries, saw Lazio emerge ahead, but Sassuolo demonstrated that they have a cohesive and determined group. Aquilani, who took over the Salerno club in a moment of transition, expressed his intention to build on that base, underlining the importance of maintaining calm and concentration. In his interview, the coach highlighted the need for "a certain extra ignorance" to guide the team towards the port, a metaphor that indicates the desire not to be overwhelmed by pressure and to maintain self-confidence.
Sassuolo, who struggled to find their identity in some previous matches, received positive comments from Turati, who described the situation as "a moment of great difficulty, we are fragile. We need to find ourselves". This indicates that, despite the difficulties, the club is determined to get back on track and consolidate its position in the league table. The coach also mentioned the need for a more balanced approach, referring to Gattuso's words on freedom of play and managing emotions on the pitch.
As for the immediate results, the match ended with Lazio in the lead, but Sassuolo demonstrated that they have a group ready to improve. Aquilani asked his staff to analyze the weak points and work on a more solid strategy for the next challenges. The press conference, scheduled for shortly after the end of the match, will offer further details on the club's tactical decisions and future prospects.
With Serie A progressing towards the crucial stages of the season, Sassuolo now faces a series of important matches. Coach Aquilani stated that the next objective is to stabilize the team and make the most of the skills of the key players. The club, which has already shown signs of resilience, aims to transform difficulties into opportunities, with the aim of consolidating its position in the league table and continuing with determination in the next few days of the championship.
