Borussia Dortmund has decided to allow Real Betis fans to attend the match at SignalIdunaPark as long as their tickets are located in the local area, unless they are in specific sectors of FondoSur. The excluded sectors are numbers 10-15, 80-84, 35-39 and 85-89, where the German club has canceled the seats. This measure comes after the massive purchase of tickets at the stadium box office, when all the seats in the visiting stands were sold out, which generated concern among Betis fans.
Betis has asked its fans that, when attending the match, they do not wear clothing with green-and-white colors in the local area and that they respect the rules of the venue. The Spanish club appreciates Dortmund's sensitivity to the efforts made and highlights the importance of maintaining discipline in the stadium. Fans who have seats outside the visiting stand, where there are 3,813 seats available, will be able to attend as long as they comply with the restrictions imposed by the German club.
Among the exceptional measures imposed by Dortmund include the prohibition of wearing Betis clothing, the obligation to carry an ID or passport and the prohibition of entering with fireworks, food, drinks, bottles, cans, glass containers, laser pointers or bags larger than A4 in size. Stadium security and police may search attendees and monitor compliance with these rules. Betis has warned that it will act rigorously in the event of any incident, including the use of pyrotechnic material, the throwing of objects or participation in altercations, and that new incidents could lead to sanctions for the entity and put future European trips at risk.
With this decision, Dortmund seeks to balance the security of the stadium with the possibility of Betis fans enjoying the match. Fans should plan their attendance in advance, ensuring that their tickets do not belong to prohibited sectors and complying with luggage and clothing restrictions. The match, which will be held at the SignalIdunaPark, will become an event where discipline and respect will be essential to avoid sanctions and guarantee the continuity of Betis' European travels.
