Polish forward ArkadiuszMilik appears in the sports press again after suffering another muscle injury on Sunday, which prevents him from continuing to participate in the 2024-25 Juventus season. Despite the positive assessment from his coach, Luciano Spalletti, the 32-year-old is not on the SerieA or EuropaLeague roster, and can only be called up for the CoppaItalia if he regains fitness.
Since June 2024, Milik has accumulated just 34 minutes of play. His injury history began with a knee injury on June 8, 2024, while representing the Polish national team, which caused him to miss the entire season. A year later, on June 25, 2025, he fractured his tibia and was out of action until December. La Gazzetta dello Sport indicates that the latest ailment is simple muscle fatigue, but it adds to the long list of problems that the striker has suffered since the start of the season.
The former Napoli player, who also played for Marseille in 2021-22, has been a substitute twice before being excluded from the official lists. If he can overcome fatigue, Milik will be able to participate in the CoppaItalia, where Juventus faces Sassuolo in the round of 16 on December 3.
Milik's injury history is not new. During his time at Marseille, a knee injury in May 2021 kept him out of action until the end of September of the same year. The French club signed him as property in 2022 and loaned him to Juventus, who acquired him permanently in 2023.
With the SerieA season underway and the CoppaItalia just around the corner, Milik's future will depend on his recovery. If he manages to be fit, Juventus will be able to count on him in the national competition, but his participation in SerieA and the EuropaLeague will remain uncertain until his fitness is confirmed.
