Italian sports newspaper Sky Sports has reported that Milan are in talks to extend the contract of American forward Christian Pulisic. According to a report on the 26th, the club has reached an agreement in principle to extend Pulisic's contract until the end of June 2031. We are currently in the final stage of finalizing the details, and expect to sign a new contract and make an official announcement in the near future. If this happens, the current four-year contract extension until the end of June 2027 will be confirmed.
The paper also quotes Fabrizio Romano, a journalist familiar with the transfer market, who reports that Milan and Pulisic have verbally agreed on a long-term contract. Pulisic, 28, grew up in Dortmund's youth organization and made his first-team debut in 2016 at the age of 17. After moving to Chelsea in 2019 and winning the Champions League, he permanently transferred to Milan in the summer of 2023. He has played in 141 official games, recording 44 goals and 28 assists.
Although his appearance in the current season was delayed due to an injury he sustained at the 2026 World Cup, he has played in seven games, scoring two goals and assisting one, and has remained a mainstay under new coach Ruben Amorim. Milan are looking to maintain their competitiveness in Serie A by securing Pulisic's experience and goal-scoring ability on a long-term basis. Details of the new contract are expected to be officially announced in the near future.
