Juventus returns to the field for the match against Genoa, but the attack remains the subject of doubts for coach Luciano Spalletti. In particular, the possible recovery of KoloMuani has been the subject of discussion, with the possibility of midfielder NickWoltemade occupying the starting position. To clarify the situation, manager WalterSabatini spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb.com, explaining the team's summer choice and the vision for the two attackers.
Sabatini defined the couple formed by MueWoltemade as "a beautiful partnership, destined to grow in performance". According to the manager, both forwards are integrating more and more into each match, despite the criticism surrounding them. “Murimane is a striker who splits the offensive front with movement, running and keeping clear,” said Sabatini, adding that he is “very proactive and courageous”. The manager, however, acknowledged that the current situation can lead to frequent errors, but expressed confidence that, together with Woltemade, Musarà will be able to become consistent in goals for Juventus.
The manager also underlined that Juventus is not just focusing on the two attackers, but aims to grow the entire team. “Spalletti is a guarantee in this sense and he just needs time,” declared Sabatini. In this context, Juventus faces a series of challenges in SerieA, with Roma still at the top of the table, followed by Lazio and Inter. Sabatini praised Roma, calling them a "determined, solid, monolith" team that "deserves what they get" and that "will certainly fight until the last match for the scudetto".
Regarding the future of Juventus, Sabatini highlighted the importance of continuing to work on the offensive department, but also underlined that the team must focus on global improvement. “The situation leads him to make mistakes often, but with Woltemade he will be able to be constant in goals for Juve,” he concluded, indicating that the hope is that the team can consolidate its position in the standings and continue to compete for titles.
