Giuliano Giannichedda expressed his vision on the future of Juventus during an interview on Tuttomercatoweb radio, underlining the need for long-term construction rather than a search for rapid changes. The coach, a former footballer and coach, highlighted that the Turin team must learn to build its own playing style, avoiding acting hastily and constantly changing coaches, managers and the technical department.
In his speech, Giannichedda compared Juventus with other Italian teams, saying that "all Italian teams don't have a squad like Inter" and that Napoli, with its structure, "becomes an excellent team". He then analyzed Juventus' situation, highlighting that the lack of key players such as Conceição and Yıldız makes the competition difficult. According to him, Spalletti is skilled at creating chances, but the team must demonstrate that they have the will to believe in themselves and play with the right attitude.
Giannichedda also expressed concern about the lack of "Juventus" players and criticized the rush to change coaches and managers. “If one is always in a hurry to change, one no longer builds,” he said, underlining the importance of a coherent development path. He cited the need to have players who can adapt to situations and who are able to make a difference on the pitch.
Regarding the current situation, Giannichedda mentioned the lack of players on the pitch due to injuries and expressed disappointment at Vlahovic's departure, calling him a "9" who could not be from Juventus. He also spoke about the difficulties in finding suitable players for the team, citing Douglas Luiz, Sarr, Cambiaso and others as examples of players who do not fit perfectly into Juve's playing model.
Finally, Giannichedda discussed the possible crisis of Amorim and Spalletti, stating that "if the crisis continues obviously" and that it is necessary to give the team some time. He also mentioned Conte as the only one around, but stressed the importance of not changing too quickly. The interview ends with the hope that Juventus can return to being the team everyone talks about, but only if they focus on construction and patience.
