Luis Enrique announced the latest information regarding the PSG squad before the match against Le Havre, scheduled for Friday at 7 p.m. Belgian winger Mika Godts was absent from training on Thursday, with the coach's agreement, in order to celebrate a happy personal event: he will soon become a father. This absence is therefore not due to an injury, but to an exceptional family situation that the Parisian staff must take into account in preparing for the ninth day of the championship.
The club also communicated on the state of health of three key players. Marquinhos, Nuno Mendes and Ousmane Dembélé continue their medical treatment, but no details have been given on their progress or a possible return date. The lack of details makes it difficult to determine whether these players will be available for the trip to Normandy. The medical staff continues to work with them, but no precise timetable has been announced at this stage.
Among the players present at training, Alessandro Longoni and David Boly took part in Thursday's session. Their presence is an additional element to consider in the composition of the team for Friday's match. Luis Enrique will have to decide whether to include them in his squad, given the situation of several key players and the need to maintain group cohesion.
In a press conference, the Spanish coach recalled PSG's objective in the championship. The club occupies first place after eight days and wishes to continue this dynamic. “We are on the ninth day and we are leaders, it is motivation to continue winning,” said Luis Enrique. The message is clear: PSG wants to continue to accumulate points and maintain its position at the top of the standings.
Facing Le Havre, PSG will have to confirm their ambitions on the pitch. The latest information on the squad will be decisive for the coach's choices. Parisian fans are waiting to see how Luis Enrique manages his squad in this crucial period of the championship, while hoping that key players like Marquinhos, Mendes and Dembélé quickly find their form.
