Barcelona is preparing for its next meeting with Alavés, scheduled for 9:00 p.m. at the Catalan club's headquarters. The main objective of the team, which has suffered recent defeats against Paris Saint-Germain and Real Madrid, is to recover points and feel competitive again in the league. To achieve this, coach HansiFlick has decided to turn to the youth team, since he has not been able to count on any of the injured players he had initially considered.
Among the players who are not available are Christensen, Koundé, EricGarcia, DaniOlmo, XaviEspart and RoonyBardghji, who will watch the match from the stands. In response, Flick has included three Barça Atlètic players in the call: EbrimaTunkara, ÀlexCampos and GuillemVíctor. Center back ÀlexCampos will continue for another week in the first team dynamic, while GuillemVíctor is presented as one of the new additions to the list, replacing the injured Espart and offering confidence to a versatile defender who, according to the coach, will be the natural replacement for BrianFariñas and could start as a right back.
EbrimaTunkara, for his part, is the third youth squad that Flick has called up. The attacker, who already participated in the preseason under the direction of Flick, represents one of the great projects of the quarry and occupies the position left by the injured Olmo. Furthermore, the coach has kept the three regular goalkeepers on his roster: JoanGarcia, Livakovic and Szczesny, thus ensuring a solid option in goalkeeping.
As for the possible lineup, Flick has six options for the defensive line: Cancelo, Balde, Cubarsí, GerardMartín, Campos and GuillemVíctor, in addition to Fariñas. In midfield, alternatives include Gavi, Fermín, Pedri, Rodri, DeJongBernal and Ebrima. Up front, the options include GabrielJesus, LamineYamal, Raphinha, Adeyemi, Gordon and HamzaAbdelkarim. This setup reflects the coach's flexibility to adapt to the absence of key players and maximize team performance.
With the call finalized, Barcelona faces Alavés with the hope of reversing the negative streak and consolidating its position in the table. The result of the match will be decisive to determine if the club manages to regain the confidence lost after recent defeats and if the integration of the youth players can make a difference in the competition.
