In contrast, Nesta Elphege still remains out of the group, while the rest of the squad has been selected for the championship match.
Among the goalkeepers, the choice fell on Corvi, Daffara and Ghidotti. In defense, Gilardino opted for Britschgi, Carboni, Delprato, Drobnic, Ndiaye, Diego Carlos, Troilo and Valeri, offering a combination of experience and youth. The midfield is made up of Bernabé, Cremaschi, Fabbian, Lontani, Keita, Konate, Nicolussi Caviglia, Ordonez and Sierro, while in attack there are Almqvist, De Martis, Diallo, Frigan, Romero and Toure. The composition aims to balance defensive solidity with offensive capacity, in view of an important match on the ninth day of Serie A.
In the broader context, Parma is preparing for a decisive match that could influence the standings. The team has shown some instability in recent matches, and the presence of Nicolussi Caviglia and Almqvist could represent a turning point. Gilardino expressed hope to harness the strength of these players to achieve a positive result, underlining the importance of a consistent performance and a winning mentality.
The club also communicated that the list was carefully defined, taking into account the tactical needs and physical conditions of the players. The decision to include Nicolussi Caviglia and Almqvist reflects the desire to strengthen the team with talents who have demonstrated the ability to adapt and resist. At the same time, Nesta Elphege's stay outside the group highlights the need for further improvements before he can be considered for the next matches.
