The Frosinone coach, Massimiliano AlAlvini, announced to Sky that the next match against Napoli, the sixth matchday of SerieA, will represent a real test of level. “It will be a very difficult test, but we want to confirm the moment,” declared the coach, underlining the importance of demonstrating one's abilities in a high-caliber match.
AlAlvini recalled his past with the club, when he played for Eccellenza in 2003 while Allegri led Napoli in SerieD, highlighting how football has changed significantly since then. “The road has been long and beautiful,” he added, reiterating that Frosinone must be up to the task of the match and take advantage of all their characteristics. The coach expressed his desire to face the challenge with intelligence, while recognizing the difficulty that Napoli, with their current form, represents.
Frosinone, who are currently 3 points behind Napoli, have asked their players to pay particular attention to preventative measures and to be ready to manage any changes in pace. “It may be necessary to play the game and then react if their attackers, like Lang and Neres, start again in transition,” explained AlAlvini. He also mentioned the recent return of Bobcek, who returned to action last day, and highlighted the importance of considering all tactical aspects before the match.
AlAlvini also asked to remember Raimondo's situation, underlining that Frosinone has already prepared the necessary work ahead of the match. “We have to consider these things and this is the choice, then we will see in the match,” he said, indicating that the strategy will be defined according to the conditions on the day. The coach asked the players to maintain concentration and not underestimate the opponent, highlighting the need to shorten the distances to prevent Napoli from exploiting transitions.
With the sixth matchday of SerieA now approaching, Frosinone is preparing for a crucial match against Napoli. The coach expressed confidence in the team's ability to face a difficult test and confirm their momentum on the pitch. The result of the match will determine whether Frosinone can reduce the gap with Napoli and consolidate its position in the league table. The match, which will take place at San Paolo, will certainly be an event to follow closely for SerieA fans.
