Neroverde defender FeddeLeysen expressed great confidence before the match against Milan, announcing that the Sassuolo team worked intensely during the mid-season break to prepare for a match against one of the best teams in Serie A. In the pre-match, broadcast by DAZN, Leysen underlined the importance of taking advantage of the opportunity of a match against a strong team and players in the national team, highlighting the possibility of winning the three points.
Leysen, who arrived at Sassuolo on loan from UnionSaintGilloise with the right to buy, recalled that the team paid particular attention to tactical analysis and physical preparation. “We worked during the break to prepare for this match against a strong team and even those who were in the national team are doing well,” he declared. The defender added that the team is "confident of playing a great match" and that the objective is to "aim for victory".
The context of this match is particularly significant for Sassuolo, who had to face Milan in one of the most important matches of the season. The match takes place in a crucial phase of the SerieA, where every point counts for the position in the standings. Milan, with its tradition and the quality of the players, represents a real challenge for the Sassuolo team, which seeks to consolidate its position at the top of the table.
Furthermore, the presence of Leysen, who proved to be an added value during his loan period, was a key element for the team. The right to buy gives Sassuolo the possibility of securing the player long-term, thus consolidating the defence. His international experience and ability to handle pressure situations make him a key element in the club's defensive strategy.
Looking to the future, Sassuolo aims to make the most of this opportunity against Milan. With the confidence expressed by Leysen and the intensive preparation, the team hopes to achieve a victory that will strengthen their position in the league table and demonstrate their ability to compete with the strongest teams in Serie A. The match against Milan will therefore be a crucial moment for Sassuolo, who intends to demonstrate their value and determination on the pitch.
