The RCLens has announced that its supporters will be able to meet on the pitch of the François-Blin stadium on Wednesday October 28 at 11 a.m., in order to compensate for the absence of visitor parking spaces for the derby on Friday October 30 in Lille. This training session open to the public, organized during the second week of the school holidays, will be an opportunity for fans to see their players up close and show their support before the match against LOSC.
The club has decided not to sell visitor parking spaces at the Decathlon Arena-Stade Pierre-Mauroy, after the incidents that occurred during the European match in Bruges. Lensois supporters will therefore not be able to park in the area reserved for visitors, which has caused frustration among supporters. To alleviate this inconvenience, the RCLens is offering a training session accessible to all, with free registration required before 9:30 a.m. The event is intended for families as well as young supporters who wish to approach the Sang et Or.
This initiative aims to maintain the link between the club and its fans, despite logistical inconveniences. The RCLens hopes that supporters can remain mobilized and enthusiastic before the derby, which remains a crucial meeting for the two northern teams. Supporters will be able to enjoy a unique experience before meeting the Mastiffs on the pitch.
